Before you jump into a center or city
wide program, it is wise to review the existing electrical
infrastructure. We can help you more clearly understand the power
requirements associated with each decor element, light line and overall
It is important to identify available circuits as opposed to simply assuming because there is an outlet there is power.
If you have a designated 20 amp circuit,
you can use up to 80% of that circuit or 16 amps. If you are plugging in
a wreath that draws 700 watts, the conversion to amps is as follows:
Amps = watts/ volts You will use 120 as the constant for volts.
Amps = 700 / 120 = 5.84 amps
This means you could plug up to two of these wreaths on that same circuit and use 11.68 amps of the available 16.
Naturally there are more considerations
with regards to number of outlets per circuit, wire size, voltage drop
and timers, but these are all things we can help you with as we help you
with your purchase.
